Hey, Realmers! Next up is Amora the Enchantress! I started with a Black Cat figure, modified the body, swapped out the arms with I think Black Queen, hands are Spider Woman, skirt from Toybiz Dr. Doom, sculpt belt, tiara is from modified Scarlet Witch tiaras and some sculpt, Ms Marvel wig, head is modified Valkyrie. The cape if from LOTR figure. I airbrushed on silver, white, then clear green then green pearl. Spell book from Austin Power figure. The cauldron is made from Toybiz. Dr. Doom foot stand, the boiling pot if from a cosmetics bottle cap with 2 holes dremeled into the sides, I took the handle of an axe and used it as the pulley rod to hold the cauldron in place over the flames (which are from a Pocahontas accessory). I dremeled some holes at the top of the 2 points on the left and the right of the pot. I took some fodder pieces from Carnage tendrils, clear orbs to make the bubbles and a yellow translucent flame from pre-Legends Toybiz light up sword (I think from Nightcrawler). I took the heat gun and melted the sides of the pot to give it some weathering and burnt crusty texture from contents boiling over and getting burned onto the bottom. Some weathering to get the glow of the flame to bleed onto the bottom of the cauldron. Some layering with yellow green and diluted Tamiya clear green for the translucent orbs and general wash over it all. Magic pieces from Hasbro Dr. Strange. I had fun making this one and pleased with the results. Thanks for looking and good fortune to you. (more pics on facebook and ebay) Please wait... |
