This was a quickie custom in a style that I've never done before. My daughters are both huge fans of the new Nickelodeon TMNT series. My oldest daughter's favorite character is Karai, and unfortunately Playmates has only released the mutated serpent version of her. She asked me to make her a custom human Karai, so how could I say no? I approached this with the idea that it needed to hold up to play from a 6 year old and a 3 year old. In other words, no sculpted parts, minimal paint apps, in scale with the new TMNT line. I'm well aware that this is no Herman, but it needed to stand the test of time so simplicity was needed here. And yes, I know the back of her hair should be blonde but my daughter and I were worried about the paint scratching off. So here's what I came up with:

Karai:

Body: DC Direct Death, lower legs were shortened
Arms: ToyBiz Marvel's Most Wanted Blink
Forearms: Playmates WildC.A.T.S. Zealot
Chest and Bicep Armor: Hasbro Marvel Legends Stryfe Loincloth
Leg Armor: DC Direct Elseworlds Batwoman
