When Kent Nelson's body started dying out from old age Nabu decided to get a new one. Approaching a ten year old kid and telling him he was destined to be a great sorcerer he transformed him into the new Dr. Fate!

Now the creepy part of this story is that Eric fell in love with his stepmom and both became lovers. Crazy story! Eventually both got killed and reincarnated in other bodies to make it look better...
