In the recent slew of Christmas customs I did for my son I had found a fodder set off ebay that had two identical MU Punishers with one missing his right leg so that is the one I recently turned into Black Adam - Loving Frank's head cast more as Black Adam I decided to use a newly purchased head from ebay user Jokafobe (same guy that does StarWarsGeek Customs) on the fully intact Punisher - this way the Punisher would not resemble Black Adam of course! Why? We do crossovers and have custom DC Variants of Marvel Characters such as a Black Lantern Wolverine and Iron-Man among others so he just need a new head you know?! - Dremel'd the head socket so it would fit lower on the neck and look more aesthetically correct in regards to being in proportion. Sanded down some of the figure, not sure what was up with it but looked as if some glue used to attach the next to the upper frame was on the chest so I dremel'd it down then sanded with various layers with final being 1000 grit then touched up the black areas using flat black. - The original socket was too large so I drilled in not wider then use hot glue to make it fit just perfect and all articulation is retained. - Mixed my own skin color using Testor's Model Masters Dark Tan, White flat, and a small amount of Orange. Hair and eyebrows using Black Flat. Painted eyes white then gave him teenie-tiny blue pupils, no clue if Punisher's eyes are supposed to be that color but went with it eh? ;) A very basic and simple custom so not many pics, it doesn't deserve too much lime light since it's basically a painted head - nothing more, nothing less but hey it worked out ;) ![]() |
