I see no ine has done one this yet, and honestly im surprised. So after buying one of the dud Superman figures that snapped off at the knee I repaired him and found myself with a candidate for experimentation. Resorting to old tricks, this was the perfect opportunity to summon up an evil Superman from the third movie. I did a black wash over the entire figure at first excluding the cape. Once the body was finished I took the muddied black water I used to clean my brushes, added a bit more black paint, removed the head and then completely submerged the cape several times for a nice even soaking and then laid the figure down on paper towels so I could soak up the additional water. With body and cape worked over I took the head and worked some grit into the eyes, mouth and nose and then returned with a scraggly brush with just a hair of black paint to add the 5 o'clock shadow as well as a little on the front of the neck. That is it!! ![]() |

Do you have any plans to post a tutorial here or on YouTube to show how you added the ab crunch to the movie master Man of Steel figures? I really want to do that to the BvS Supes fig.
I was lucky that my NECA Superman sent from a generous Twitter user in the US to me in the UK was pretty much problem free. I love it. I'd like a Superjerk like this someday too. If NECA weren't limited with this license having to put it with DVDs and such I'm sure they'd do an official variant themselves too. Very cool custom.
