I was very excited to create a custom 4" Deathstroke figure, and when I got asked to commission one I jumped right on it! I wanted to get as much detail as I could fit in this small figure, and I wanted it to feel real. Here is my recipe: Head: I made two interchangeable heads. The mask was sculpted on an iron man head, then cut and hollowed out once it dried. Finally I fit it over another MU head, glued it down, painted it, and added orange and blue latex bands for flexibility. The head without a mask was a MU Kraven that was painted. I sculpted his eyepatch and glued black string. Body: I used an MU Iron Man for his body. I hallowed out the Multiverse Deathstroke, then shaved and cut out usable body armor pieces that I glued over the base. I sculpted the back, and parts of the upper abs. I used latex for the straps that connect the abs to the chest. The chest belt was made out of a black elastic, and shaved down belt pockets. The waist belt was the multiverse shaved down, then attached by latex to the chest belt as intended in his origins design. Arms: Another iron man was used for the arms. I used the multiverse forearms and hands. Then I hollowed out the multiverse biceps and used an elastic that was glued to attach the should armor and bicep so that the arm could move in all direction without being restricted. Legs: I used a gi Joe waist and upper thigh and attached it to the MU iron man base after I sawed his off. Then I hollowed out the upper thighs of the multiverse Deathstroke and attached it over the gi Joe thighs and glued them together. I used the ironman knee joint and upper calf. After hollowing out the upper boots of Deathstroke, I fit them over the calfs and viola! Lol Misc: I added a gun holster to his right thigh, and added elastic straps from his thighs to his waist. I also used the Deathstroke sword case, cut it off the original figures back, and added a small ped on the back of the case so that it can be removable from the figure like the gi joe accessories do. I finished by painting him head to toe, adding wear and tear effects by dry brushing white all over his armor. Sorry for the longest recipe description ever! Lol Thanks for checking out my custom, and for any and all comments! ![]() |
