Here we have the... 21st CENTURY TANK GIRL JAMIE HEWLETT STYLE 100% ORIGINAL ACTION FIGURE!!!!

This is Davey Blaze Customs 1st Completely Original Action Figure, with 100% original sculpting and engineering, including the joints.
This Figure was based on the Art of Tank Girl Co-Creator Jamie Hewlett and is intended to be a direct 3 dimensional representation of the cover art of 21st Century Tank Girl #1, released by Titan Comics. This comic marks Jamie Hewlett's return to Tank Girl Comics after 20 Years!!! These figures(The Full set shown with the Tank Girl: Brunch at the Riots Custom Playset) were a massive labor of Love and are intended to celebrate that incredible reunion of Alan Martin and Jamie Hewlett, the incredible Creators of Tank Girl.
That, Folks, is worth celebrating!

This Figure is Fully Poseable and has articulation at the neck, shoulders, forearms, waist and thighs. Here rear accessories (Large Knife and Baseball Bat) slide into her rear Belt-Pouch using two snug pegs, so these accessories are removable. All accessories, including her small knife, are 100% Original sculpt as well. Her small knife that's in her hand is not removable as to avoid paint damage from taking it in and out, although it could be made removable pretty easily. Her forearms are swapable although I haven't made any alternate gloves or alternate forearms yet.

I based most of her outfit on what is visible in Jamie Hewlett's Cover Art for 21st Century Tank Girl #1 and chose a color pallete that seemed like it would be accurate to the image and is based on previous images of Tank Girl. Her Boots and Tights are also based on previous Hewlett drawn Tank Girl Images.

I LOVE this Figure. Of all that I've made, it's my personal favorite so far. It is something I have wanted to do for a long time and it took a tremendous amount of time, effort, Love, ambition, trust in my mind's vison as well as some trial and error. If you ever plan an undertaking like this that challenges all of your creative abilities: Go for it. It was worth it.
21st Century Tank Girl is a terrific 3 comic Mini-Series which features stories and art from many of the creative minds and artists behind Tank Girl Comics, so I strongly recommend you all check them out and collect them all. I Love them.
