I used figures from the Playing Mantis collection. For Violet, I began with a Schroeder figure and painted the hair black and the outfit green. Using Sculpy, I made a hair band and ponytail and baked them for the required time. After painting them, I attached them to the back of her head using Tacky Glue. For 5 (one of the lesser known characters) I found a Pig Pen figure whose face was remarkably free of "dirt marks". I gave him a shorter haircut and, going by the colors used in the TV specials, painted his pants black and his shirt orange. The final touch was adding his trademark 5 on the front of his shirt with a fine tip paint marker.
