Well, I had mixed feelings about the painting on the DC Collectibles New 52 Lex Luthor for quite some time. The metallic green is great, and with some silver drybrushing on top of it to give it some nice worn-out effect, it looks simply awesome! However, the original dull purple that it came with the figure was simply killing all the flashy Luthor's factor of it. In addition, green&purple color schemes are something that another major DC's villain would casually wear, right?

All I did was a simple repaint with some acrylic magenta over the purple parts, and gave him a kryptonite blade and beam effect made out of a translucid green marker I had.

Now this sassy Luthor (just take a like at his face sculpt) looks like he's ready to deal with tall sorts of pesky kryptonians with those fancy low cost upgrades! Hope you guys like it!
