How did you shorten the torso?

Cut/sawed out the section that spanned from the top of his waistcoat's bottom button to the top of the button above it. Cemented the torso back together and sculpted over the seam created by the cut.

Really nice. Looking at a pic of the original I can see it now. How did you get the two pieces back together? Did you split the two chest pieces? I always have a really hard time doing that.

The chest piece was just boiled and popped off of the lower torso. After cutting/sawing off the section from the lower torso, I used PVC Cement (in the plumbing section of hardware stores) to bond the lower sections back together, now shortened. Sculpted over the horizontal seam that was created. Then heated the chest piece and popped it back onto the lower torso.

Brilliant! I saw that Penguin figure in the store and never though he could look like a strong dude. You made an awesome Hammerhead, the scale is exactly how he should be with the Marvel legends.

You figured out the suit mystery in customizing and created a tailor made suit custom.

I've seen this head on so many suited figures. None of them looked right. Yours is perfect.

Way cool. I grabbed a couple of the Gordon and Penguin figures at my local TRU that were on sale for 12.99, with the intention of turning them into larger suited figures like Tombstone and Hammerhead. Hope my efforts turn out as good as yours.
