I'll start by saying the credit goes to Comicustoms for the idea, check out his various custom Griffin figures if you haven't already.

This guy has been long overdue. As mentioned, a few years ago I had seen Comicustoms use this same base body to make the Griffin. I was wanting to make the character anyways (mainly the humanoid version), but figured since I had an extra Battlecat that needed used up, I figured I'd give it a go. I had him sculpted, prepped, and even with a primer coat on but due probably to procrastination I quit the project. Fast forward till about a month ago, I just randomly decided to dig him out and finish him up. I'm glad too, cause he was taking up a good deal of space, lol.

Base: Battlecat (sculpted mane, made upper teeth removeable)
Wings: ML Angel (resculpted with attached bionicle joints)
Everything else was from either sculpt or fodder

Definitely a lot of time and effort went into this guy, but I'm quite pleased overall with how he turned out.
