I want a D-arts Charizard pretty bad, but I'm not taking out a small mortgage to buy one. I was willing to fork over $15 for a model kit though, and this Charizard is a pretty cool place holder. The kit came with stickers, but no self respecting customizer would use those, so I painted his wings, eyes, hands, feet, inside of his mouth and tail fire. He has pretty good articulation for a Pokemon toy (most have 0) but I wanted to experiment with modding and thought this would be a good guy to try it on. I added ball point shoulders from a Marvel Universe classic Thor, so now his arms can move in all directions. It's a small thing, but adds a lot to his articulation.

He came with Charmander and Charmeleon, but they kind of stunk (just little hollow statues) so I used one of their tail fires to make a little fire ball that he can pose with. I'm pretty happy with how he came out and while the D-arts is superior in every way, I still love this little guy.
