Alright, Heres my 2nd figure posted here on FigureRealm. Basically, he's a Mod of the Marvel Select figure. I am sort of pissed now, because I was in the middle of posting this, when my computer crapped out. Anyway, heres my Zombie Spidey Mod. As suggested by a friend, known as Jin Saotome, Heres the story... When I got the Zombie Spidey, I noticed, of course that the figure is sculpted with the lower, unmasked head as a torn up and bloody face, where every picture of Zombie Spidey has his lower half as a Skull. I really liked how he looked with the skull half, But I figured there was nothing I could do. Until I found the head from the old Movie Ghost Rider. So Thats where the lower half came from.

THE RECIPE:

He's made of the Marvel Select Zombie Spidey, and the Movie Ghost Rider with the Interchangable heads. What I did was, took off the head of Zombie Spidey, and cut around the open mask with an X-acto knife, all the way off. Then, I cut the lower half off of the Rider's Skull. Then I trimmed up both, and tried to Super-Glue the skull jaw into the head. Well, it didn't work so well, and wound up getting everything glued together... which resulted in a mess. The articulated jaw was glued together several times, and I had to fix it at least twice. But I'll explain the outcome at the end. When I finally got the head together in one piece, I showed Jin, and he gave me some EXTREMELY valuable tips, as well as some well needed encouragement. So I painted the exposed skull with a dark tan color, but I did not like how it looked in the end. So then I base painted the bottom of the head with solid black, and then washed it with the dark tan. It looked nice, so I thickly washed with the red for the blood smeared effect.

Now, about the Jaw getting glued together, I had to fix the jaw pegs, and it resulted in.. A Removable Lower Jaw! And the neat part is, with the jaw off, you can see the inside bone all the way to his neck. He is just about my best detailed paint in this scale, and as I mentioned before, I owe a BIG part of this Mod to Jin Saotome, for some great tips, and some well much appreciated encouragement. Thanks Jin! Could'nt have done it without ya!

So, I hope you enjoy, and some positive feedback is always welcome! Thanks everyone!

Oh, and approx. work time: 3 Hrs.

FigureRealm won't let me post more pics. I am dissapointed. Basicaly, in order, 1st pic is my take on when Zombies open their mouths to the point where their jaw unhinges on one side. 2nd is an overall pic with the original stand. 3rd, is a comparison shot with the new and original mouths, and finally, 4th, is a shot with the jaw removed. Thanks everyone!
