Hi everyone,

I began customizing figures around 3 years ago. Within that time I made over one hundred customs but I have yet to do a custom of a Marvel or DC character. This will be my very first custom of a Marvel character. The figure I decided to created to pop the cherry for this occasion is no other than The Sensational She-Hulk (Jennifer Walters). My inspiration came from one of my favorite  Sideshow Collectibles Premium Format Statue of the She-Hulk that was released years ago.


The She-Hulk epitomize the modern day woman. In a male dominant superhero universe, a woman has to be more than just a pretty face. She has to be a leader, tough, independant, intelligent, also be strong emotionally and physically and a multi-tasker to compete in a man world. The She-Hulk has all these qualities. She is strong, smart, a great career lawyer by day and a superhero on her spare time. Unlike her cousin Bruce Banner, she is able to keep her anger/rage emotions in check and has been affillerated with many teams and groups. She fought courageously along side with the Avengers, Fantastic 4 (replacing the Thing), Heroes for Hire, S.H.I.E.L.D and many more in defending against evil villians. She is a leader and selected her own team for the Lady Liberators to go up against Red Hulk and also dated tough guy Luke Cage. Who does'nt love a woman who can hang with the boys, lift and push weight around and kick some a$$ with a big smile on her face? As you can see, this woman has done it all.

Here what I did to created multi-dimensional tough girl She-Hulk


Torso (modded and sculpted shoulder trim lining) - ML infinite Red She-Hulk

Arms/ Lower pants and boots- WWE Kaitlyn

Hands- Epoch Tekken Jun Kazama

Legs- LCBH Ann O'Brien fused with Red She Hulk torso

Head- ML Scarlett Witch

Hair- DC Collectibles Poison Ivy with some tranplanting, sculpting and hair weaving parts of ML Black Cat, LCBH RipClaw pieces and strips of Sota Ryu Bandana for her front hair bangs to try and get her close to accurate to the Sideshow Statue.

Waist Belt- Mcfarlane Metal Gear 2 Olga , Belt Loops/ Pieces of Sota Ryu Bandana


Painted her up like the Premium Format Statue and finally finished my first Marvel custom ....whew!!!

I hope I did the She Hulk some justice because I do admire her character, strength and toughness that she has.
