Hooded head: the hobbit Kili fodder and sculpt for the hood
Top Hat head: xmen origins wolverine Logan, sculpted hat
Torso and legs: Prince of Persia Dastan. Plus fodder and sculpt
Upper arms: GI Joe Flint
Right lower arm: Renegades snake eyes
Left lower arm: Jango fett plus fodder and sculpt
Coat: the hobbit, Kili, sculpted collar and some extra fodder
This was my first commission, so I wanted to make sure I pulled out every trick I had to make it the best I could. Dastan made for an excellent base for this, but the upper leg and shoulder joints were awful, so I drilled out the shoulder section of the torso as crafted new joints for the arms, then split the crotch section. And added some fodder leg joints, and cut the legs to add the new connections. It was some work, but made for much better leg and arm articulation. The Kili coat was great, but needed the collars sculpted and some extra additions and detailing. I used a blend of fodder and sculpt to make the waste coat and collars on the torso, and added some extra detailing to the Jango fett gauntlet to make the blade able to extend and retract. This is easily some of the most work I've put into a custom in a long time, but I wanted to go that extra mile to make sure the client would be happy with the end result.
