I found this guy one day while taking a side trip into a Comic Store. No idea what the original figure was, I assume GI Joe. After some thought, I figured he would make a PERFECT Firefly figure.

The work to the actual figure was pretty basic, mostly just repainting. He was already pretty well built, so I just touched him up.

The main work came with the jetpack. I found some old pack in my fodder bin, made some custom wings, attached them, then repainted the whole thing and made it pretty.

Last, but not least, I found some small flame pieces in the bin that I drilled small holes into to allow them to be put on the ends of the flamethrowers, just a small touch I felt was kinda cool.

Figure Features:

-3.75 inch height

-19 points of movement

-Custom paint job

-Sealed to protect paint job

-Removable jetpack

-Moving face visor

-Removable flames (for his arm flame throwers)

Very nice! What did you make the wings from? I'm about to attempt wings for Darkhawk and am looking for ideas!

That's...a good question! lol

In a fodder box I received a while back, I got this weird Skylanderish motorcycle that came with some huge wings. Long story short, I chopped off the tips, cleaned them up a bit and then attached them to a GI Joe backpack. So they're mostly cobbled together from spare parts

Nice! Great idea to make Firefly out of this base, which I'm pretty certain was originally a GI Joe Mercenary Wraith, if you were wondering, lol. Awesome work!

Thanks! I was a little curious-I found him in a sandwich bag in a small comic store for a few bucks, so my guess was that he was some sort of loose Joe.
