The idea behind this figure is the in Transformers the Movie from 1986, Hot Rod didn't interfere in the final battle between Optimus Prime and Megatron. The figure started as a regular TakaraTomy MP-10 and the dio stand started as Foamular board and a broken Apollyon figure. All of the figures were hand painted with Vallejo Acrylics and paint brush. The Optimus figure is fully transformable and has a aftermarket fully articulated hands from KFC.
