The movie games for the Amazing Spider-Man 1 and especially 2 were really lacking in comparison to the Raimi Trilogy's games. No voices from the actors in the film and deviating from structure even further than the last film did. I just feel that with Spider-Man movie games we want to play the film and we want the movie actors voices, not a cop-out. One thing that I did enjoy in Spider-Man 3 the next gen version of the game and the Amazing Spider-Man 2 game was Kraven. Both had a different take, one a typical Kraven and interesting boss fight using spirit animal powers the other a developed character who trains Spider-Man to become the ultimate hunter and worthiest foe to Kraven. I think this new Infinite series figure reminds me of video-game Kraven's in it's styling being more realistic rather than the Toy-Biz rage fueled spandex wearing 'Chuckle Brother' look alike (that's what it looks like to me). This one is more subtle. As I am away from home I decided (having ordered the Kraven) to give him a pony tail like in the Spider-Man 3 game as I love that look, a machete like in the games and the neckless and scars from the Amazing Spider-Man 2 game. The scars I just cut into him and I even went as far as gluing thread onto his arm scar to make it look like a stiched up wound. The kneckless was lacking the little skull of w.e creature it's supposed to be, a snake/ lizard possibly no idea, but added it. The Machete is made like a sword would be kind of: The handle is from a cotton bud stick shortened to fit his hand and split at the top (well cut) on 2 sides to allow a 'blade' to slot in between. The 'blade' carved out of 2 plastic flat packagin pieces and glued togerher, cut into the right shape and then 'sharpened' (not actually sharp jsut made finer at the blade's edge) before being slotted into place. As this is plastic on a tiny scale and not maluble spring steel like a real sword, I didn't have to hammer the end like a pummel xD, but I did fill the tube housing the blade with glue to seal it. Then I wrapped the handle with spare strips of rubbery plastic from a halloween mask that I made a Dare Devil mask out of and stuck 2 in the bottom of the ear bud tube like tassles. Painted and done. The pony tail is interesting, what I did here (as I have no fodder with me) is took a strip of that rubbery plastic and stuck it to the back of his head. Then I took multiple strands from the thread and glued them on the strip gradually working my way around and shaping the 'hair' until the effect was like a strong and durable hair piece moulded. Then I wrapped more Thread around the top end and bottom to have 'hair ties. braids'. Hope you enjoy.
