This is a diorama piece of the Fortress of Solitude as it would have looked in the Man of Steel film. It was made using a Superman Playset from Imaginext. This playset incorporates design motifs from the film but it was obviously targeted at kids, with several play features, primary colors and no paint applications.

- I removed all the parts I didn't want and fully repainted it using textured metallic spray paint.
- I painted the Kryptonian command key black (it was yellow in the playset).
- I replaced the Superman logo sticker with a metal belt buckle.
- I added some mementos from the Fortress of Solitude as seen in its many incarnations: Bottle City of Kandor, Phantom Zone Projector, Kryptonite and Kelex.
- The playset stands 11" tall and works well as a display piece for your Man of Steel 6" action figures.
