Silver Age Supergirl, Kara Zor-El. Considering her sad history, I wanted a bright and happy version who really LOVES to fly. I always try to make flying figures fly. She's a Wow Girl Lifeguard (generic figures from Wal-Mart in sporty-outdoorsy roles) and some small Asian female body for a slim girlish figure. Her cape (not sure where from) is deliberately oversized to be impressive. It's screwed to her shoulders (heads ground down and covered by putty) and tacked to the rear of her boot. A stainless rod with kinks was driven up her heel and glued. Her skirt is handkerchief material. Her hair is sculpted white putty. I couldn't paint inside her boot edges without touching her leg, so gave her blue boot socks. Her big blue eyes are the doll's original eyes.
