"I've covered wars, ya know." Here's Frank West from Capcom's Dead Rising games! Frank is a photojournalist trapped in the middle of a zombie outbreak who just might turn the apocalypse into his big break. He's a cheesy, sarcastic, and somewhat greedy guy, but he has a heart of gold and does the right thing when it counts. Using his burly physique and pretty much every item sold at Williamette Parkview Mall, he's also good at killing zombies by the bushel load. Frank is one of the few truly memorable characters of the Xbox 360 generation (honestly, how much do you know about the Resident Evil chars besides what they look like?!), so I wanted to commemorate his character with a 1:6 scale custom figure.

Head - Misc military head that I sculpted over to create Frank's irritated scowling face (as if he's been chopping zombies all day) and crazy hair. I wanted it to look like he does in the game -- Blocky shapes but with realistic textures.
Body - Frankensteined multiple parts together. Art Figures legs, BBI G3 arms, and a Hitfigure torso. I bulked it all up and made sure his sweater aka chest hair was visible.
Clothes - Misc items all weathered and re-stitched for better fit. Splattering paint to create blood effects was fun!
Chainsaw - fully repainted and weathered Power Team chainsaw
Camera - Can't forget Frank's trusty camera! Found on ebay. I added wire hooks & scratch built a Canon-style camera strap.

His accessories includes a syringe of zombrex, samurai sword, punching hands, hands to hold weapons and take photos, pylon and lego helmet (latter are from the game).
