So, thanks to numerous issues, my theme of eight Amalgam characters for the month of September quickly turned into seven. Unfortunate, but it happens. The rest can be saved for a later date and next week we can get into some Halloween based stuff going into October. Really excited for that. This character is one I've liked since the first time I saw him. Remember at the end of Arkham Asylum when Joker used Titan on himself and turned into a huge, grotesque monster? This is like that, but better. Joker mixed with Sabretooth, with a little Harley Quinn thrown in, as well. Such a cool idea. And the name was perfect, too. Hyena. Love it. He's one of the ones I wanted to make forever, but had problems getting my hands on Sabretooth bodies. They're quite expensive these days. Thankfully, for this month, I had one left over from my last Dark Beast custom. Used the head for that, had the body for this. I added sculpt over the majority of the torso to smooth out all the ridges. Great sculpt on this guy, but a serious pain when trying to customize him. Then, I cut the points off the gloves, glued a holster to his hip, and sculpted up all the hair. Couldn't get a decent shot of his back in any image searches, so I just took a guess on how it should look. Head was a Joker cast from AngelForge with light alterations. Full repaint, and done! I realize now he should have a belt, but I think he looks all right without it. Maybe I'll do a second version at some point. Pretty happy with him in the end, so I'm glad to close out this set on a high note.
