Time to close out the Defenders set. I had another character planned in this spot, but there's a group planned for next month that he fits in much better. So, since I was updating Silver Surfer, I thought going for a more classic take on Valkyrie would make for a good replacement. I tried her once, years ago, but always wanted to give it another go. Now, I'm actually not sure which I prefer. The paint is smoother here, but the design was better in the original. Interesting how that worked out. Overall, a straight, yet tedious, repaint. I was short a Valk hand, so one is from She-Hulk. The cape was from Gladiator with the collar modified. The sword was from, I think, Gandalf. Closest I could find in what I had. Overall, pretty happy with her, and glad to have the group all finished up. Included a group shot, as well, since I get asked about those on occasion.
