Vortigaunt (Half-Life) Custom Action Figure
Custom #: | 76774 | Name: | Vortigaunt | Custom Type: | Action Figure | Toy Series: | Half-Life | Creator: | Deaditor | Date Added: | September 23, 2015 | Base Figure: | Toybiz Shaaku | Height: | 6.00 inches |
I took a Shaaku the Warg rider figure and removed his head, neck, hands and cut open the rubber in his legs to get the stick legs visable for work. I ended up reshaping the inside of the leg so that he could stand properly with digitigrade legs (look it up). The hands are from a Captain Rex 3.75 figure and his third arm is a mix of clone trooper Clone Wars arms and a Padme Clonewars arm joint with fingers stuck on and tips of Wolverine Claws for nails. The lower legs from the knee are Luminara Unduli's legs then sculpted over with Milliput. His main Eye is actually a plastic marble which was half red and blue. I used a Cyclops X2 knee and lower leg to allow the neck to move down and up to a certain point and the mouth is a rubber trouser leg from the Wolverine Mystique X1 disguise. I also made the mouth moveable by using a knuckle joint from Magneto X2's hands and the big fingers are from a skeleton toy (12'' in height making the finger parts the right length) and I sculpted the nails. His Feet, body design, back, ears, eyelids, other eyes, pecks, and upper legs are all sculpted. I was workign on a Gorden Freeman, but might jsut order the figure, also a Combine is comming, but not for a long time. I also varnished the eyes to give them a gleam and kept the button function, thoguh some sawing had to be done around it after removing the Shaaku figures back warg fur hide decoration. I made this for no particular reason other than I was bored and played Half-Life and Half-Life 2 again and thought I wonder if I can make this? Please wait... |
