This was my first custom attempt. Im not an artistic person at all. Never taken an art class. Have trouble drawing straight lines. However, I enjoy doing research and have watched a bazillion vids and read a bunch of tutorials (prob authored by some of you so thank you!). My first action figure as a kid was the brown and yellow costumed wolverine and he happens to be one of my favorite superheroes, so I thought I'd give it a go. I used Toycooker's Wolverine as a model (his is pretty badass check it out). He also provided me with a tutorial on how to extend the abdomen area, which in my opinion makes the base figure work better in the 6" scale. Here's the recipe I went with: S3 Wolverine head, Indestructible Hulk torso/arms/upper thighs, S5 Sabretooth calves, Batroc feet, and scupting. Update: I made myself a light box and it makes a great difference in photography! ![]() |
