I've kept the TBML series 1 Iron Man as my default classic red and gold figure for ages as his bulkiness always appealed to me more than the short and skinny Hasbro 2-pack IM figure. My only gripes about the old series 1 figure have always been that he's not quite tall enough, and his limbs were very oddly proportioned. With the new Grim Reaper body based Classic Captain America figure announced, I decided to step up series 1 IM's height and proportion game since I couldn't stand the thought of yet another "Cap taller than Iron Man" situation. Until Hasbro gets around to updating all their Iron Man figure bodies, I'm glad to finally have a classic red and gold IM in my display that I now have zero gripes about.
