Here's My custom Mandarin
He's made using a Funko Jace upper body & arms, Zemo lower body, Spiderman feet, Ripclaw head, Iron fist hands, and DCUC Cobra cape
I really love this Jace upper body it works really well for mystic characters, I have 1 more in my fodder bin so be on the look out for the next one

I have the same figure and it is great but I am having trouble having paint stay on the upper torso and the the shoulder armor piece. How did you get paint to stick to his torso? Thanks and awesome custom man!

Yeah you definitely need to apply a primer before painting and give the figure a good wash in soapy water and let it completely dry before that. Also make sure your using good quality paints I.e citadel,Formula P3, model masters, Vallejo and Tamiya.

How does the Funco upper body match up with the Hasbro lower? Any difficulties, does it retain waist articulation or did you glue in place.

You loose waist articulation but there is still the diaphragm joint that gives you your swivel
