“Alright, Warpath! This should be an easy kit bash”, I said to myself. “I’ll have him done in a couple weeks!” Well, that was the plan, until my OCD kicked in and this became yet another 2 month project where I poured as much detail into this guy as I possibly could. The recipe is pretty simple: Head: MU Warpath Body: MU Hercules But then looking at the figure and his gloriously chiseled Greek physic, he was just way too shredded for the look I was going for. So I decided to subtly smooth out his definition and sculpt tiny folds and details to make it looks like he’s actually wearing, well, something, rather than the painted-on look most Hasbro toys take on these days. Are these figures going into battle or to a party at the Playboy mansion? I also sculpted the his wrist straps, boots and belt from scratch and made fully functional custom sheaths for his knives which attach to the back of his belt with a tiny magnet. I then wrapped him up with a fancy semi-gloss/matte paint job and used LMF for the first time. I really like the end result but there was definitely some trial and error that took place while using the product. I also got tired of shooting my figures on a plain black background so I threw together that little rocky outcrop base. Thank you for looking and please leave a comment below! I’ll answer any and all questions. ![]() |
