Couldn't bare the thought of opening up a Collector's Club blue ink Mcfarlane signed Urizen figure, so customized one for the sole purpose of play! The base figure has surprisingly good articulation, and highly durable joint movement, allowing some rough and tumble posing. Not to mention that most of its sculpting already sort of resembles the style on the CC Urizen. The Sasquatch figure also has loads of texture as well, which made dry-brushing this beastie a pure pleasure to do. Started with a dark carbon black arcylic, working from the sides and brushed gradually lighter out. Replaced the claws and feet from a Dark Alliance Lucifer, with sculpt work done over, and reworked the head to a closer resemblance. The two sickle-like protrusions were cut from blister package, sculpted over and onto his back.
The sculpt work on the original Urizen and just the overall mass of the figure, would probably feel awesome to touch, but until the will to hold off from opening it yields, this custom oughta curb that impulse for now. Another monster for the gallery hee-hee, thanks for visiting!
