I know that customs submitted here should be completely finished and not work-in-progress, but I won't be working anymore on this figure. Unfortunately, now I have less time for this hobby than I want to. I started customizing when I was single and had plenty of time, a good desk to work and huge shelves to display figures. Now that I'm dad of a 15-months-old understandably I have less time for myself, when I do I don't have large periods of time and where I live now I don't have a proper desk to work or that much shelf room for my figures. Not complaining here, I'm having a blast with my kid, but for those rare occasions when I have time now I need to know which projects I really want to finish and how I'm going to display them.
So, this guy has been sitting on my workbench for way too long. I think it is actually one of my first customs, dating back to 2007. It has a Marvel Legends Daredevil body as a base, and the belt is from a Marvel Legends Bullseye with Miliput. I sculpted the head (only ears and nose) and the spikes on the gauntlets. I painted the figure then with Citadels. Back then my skills were very basic. I was still learning to sculpt but I could paint (I had some experience painting board game miniatures). I knew that I had to improve some skills before taking on the belt and the cape, because I wanted something with wires for the cape. I also wanted to keep all the articulations of the original figure, so I wanted a belt that would not be on the way of the figure's movement. A long time after that I sort of completed the belt, and the figure kept awaiting for completion for years. Now, having much less time for this, I would rather finish other projects than take on the cape of this figure (sorry little guy, it been a tough decision).
That's why I'm submitting it like this. I wanted to share this piece of work, up to the point I was able to work on it. Not finished, but sadly I have to "be done" with it now.

Please wait...
