The Walmart Exclusive Marvel Legends movie Hawkeye is highly sought after and thus very expensive and difficult to come by. I decided to settle for a surprisingly decent knockoff. The bootleg figure is taken from the same moulds as the original but has less than half the number of articulation points and, as is de rigeur for bootleg figures from China, inexplicably has a LED in its chest. I decided to mod the figure. I wanted to get the arms to be able to draw back the bow and reach into the quiver, so I opened up the figure and swapped in the arms from an old Toy Biz Wolverine, which took some modding. I sculpted on the straps on the forearm and the finger tab on his left hand. I also removed the LED, sculpting over the resulting hole and covering up the exposed screw holes on the back and the back of the legs with sculpt. I wanted the quiver to look more accurate as well, so I repainted it and drilled four holes into the top of it, sticking in arrow ends made from twisty wire, with bits cut out from plastic packaging for the fletching.
