Back when the Punisher was first announced for series two of Daredevil I started to create a concept for how the character might look. I loved the Tom Jane "Dirty Laundry" short on YouTube (if you haven't seen it, check it out) and was hopeful he might actually get to reprise the role. When Jon Bernthal was announced I gave up on the figure (not that I have a problem with the casting, great choice IMO)
I found him the other day and figured he deserved to be completed so, here he is.

Originally I took a WWE figure (John Morrison I think) and dremmeled down everything except his feet and hands (sliced his face clean off like some sort of Hillbilly cannibal) then started to build him back up with milliput apoxy.
I sculpted the Tom Jane head using screenshots from Dirty Laundry as a reference then painted it using Citadel paints, using a very dark blue for the costume and black for the body armour. I opted for grey and steel instead of white for a darker look. I also added a little blood "splashback" to the skull and built him a little display base using polystyrene, a straw and some more apoxy.

Here he is, ready to dish out some Frank Castle "justice". Now all I need to do is wait for those first shots of Jon Bernthal in costume (I doubt black t-shirt and coat will be the final look) and I'll have a crack at him.
