As a fan of pirates, mermaids, buried treasure and tales of adventure on the high seas, I decided to make the wrecked prow of a ship featuring a golden figurehead of a mermaid to be a part of any suitably nautical diorama. Made from various figure parts from my fodder box, apoxie sculpt, a coat hanger piece and ice lolly sticks.
