The final piece in my Ranger masterpiece, I give you the Pink Ranger! Kimberly was redesigned with a warrior aesthetic to separate here from the popular school girl she was in the original series. After seeing her in Flashpoint, I was inspired to show the warrior side of her. The Pterodactyls were no joke, they were deadly hunters with accurate aim and flight, and so I designed the Pink Ranger to reflect that. Kimberly sports a more muscular physique that is greatly portrayed in her legs, fitting with her background as a gymnast. Her skirt was partially inspired by the armored skirts medieval archers wore that allowed them to move about the battlefield quickly. Her armored glove, knee, and leg guards all have a streamlined, arrow-like aesthetic to reinforce the speed and agility Kimberly is capable of when morphed. Her shoulder armor is protective, yet lightweight, and doesn't interfere with here articulation. Her color scheme sports a much darker hue than the classic costume, further differentiating her as
a deadly fighter.

I noticed that most Pink Rangers have a heart shape worked into their helmet, though Kimberly's was more abstract than most. I didn't want that for my ranger, and removed even the slightest hint of a heart from my new helmet. The new visor is much more intimidating and predatory. I reworked the helmet to include the bat-like wings into the helmet, and the mouth guard resembles the open beak of the ancient predator Kimberly gains her power from.

The Ptera-Wings were made from a Legends of the Dark Knight Robin, repainted and slightly reshaped with a heat gun. The wings sit on her shoulders without causing paint rub, and are held in place with a magnet attached to her back.

Kimberly comes armed with the Power Bow, a multi-use Crossbow that can fire three different types of shot: Energy Blast, Laser Arrow, and BombShot, a pulse of energy that can explode over a wide area. The Bow can fly and be controlled independently of Kimberly, and be used for reconnaissance or cover fire. The Bow can also be used as a short range melee weapon; the edges can energize and cut through enemies with lethal force.
Also at the Pink Rangers disposal is the traditional Blade Blaster and Ptera-Saber, a short short that can be energized to inflict extra damage upon the enemy.

While Kimberly sports slightly less articulation than my previous rangers, she has the honor of having the most accessories out of all of them. She is truly a lethal warrior now, and not one to be messed with. I think she could even take on the Green Ranger now!

Bow Shots: Arrow and Bomb made from Young Justice Artemis arrows. Energy shot sculpted with Aves.
