Hi guys its been a long time, I have been working on this piece that was commissioned by an awesome guy that found and contacted me here on the Realm to ask if I could make him an ice slide and it just grew from there. The lawns were made by cutting 2 30cm squares of foam board that were then bashed all over the serface woth a rock for texture and painted flat green and bordered with stones carved from foam board I mixed 3 different colours of gras flock and flocked both lawns, the ice slide was carved from foam board and the front blast on the slide was sculpted using sculpey it was then painted blue and dry brushed with white then it was given 12 coats of pva glue and a coat of high gloss varnish the separate ice blast was made in a similar way. The bamfs are a tin foil base sculpted over with sculpey, the wall is made from foam board and the wall plaque is also made from sculpey. The battered gate is made from foam core and wire coat hanger wit the edges sculpted over with green stuff and I used the heads of dress pins for the rivets. The paths and pillars are carved from foam board and the rubble is made of sand glue foam board and plastic cd cover. The pages are printed. The hedges are foam board covered in model railway hedging and the flames are sculpted from sculpey. The statue has a post of its own on here see the recipe there.
