I love a good challenge, especially when it comes to finding different parts to fit together. Generally, I use Hasbro or Toybiz parts mixed in, but in this case I wanted to stay all Neca so the higher fine Details flowed from head to toe. Man, if Neca got the Marvel 6 or 7 inch license, I think they'd add a whole new level of detail. I mean they do skin texture on most of their figures which is mindblowing.

So, for Frank here, I decided to give him a NECA Makeover just in time for the contest. Also couldn't have had more hype to do Punisher with the recent announcement of him being in Season 2 of Daredevil. I used the following parts to give him an imposing Sideshow Olivetti style build using the statue as reference and influence for some of this custom:

I repainted Punisher from head to toe, mixing flat on his costume and gloss block on the leathery parts, and used several layers of dry brushing on the punisher symbol to maintain the shirt texture. I also detailed the veins with a skin tone and green/blue mix. I'm especially happy with all the skin tones and realism in the face.

Hasbro has been kicking butt in my opinion releasing lots of great figures this year, but boy oh boy would NECA give them and Diamond Select a run for their money.
