Hi everyone,

Since their first appearance over 30 years ago..Tmnt is still going strong today with their Nickelodeon series and figures. In honor of the 2015 San Diego Comic Con which ended this past weekend. I decide to created a SDCC Exclusive Tmnt Nickelodeon style of Master Splinter human form Hamato Yoshi. The toy company Playmates only made a Hamato Yoshi figure once in their 2003 Tmnt line. As we can see..Hamato Yoshi character in figure form is pretty rare and would of been a great idea to make one as a exclusive in San Diego comic con for Nickelodeon tmnt line. He is my take and back story to go along with the Human form of the Tmnt Master.

Back Story

As we all know Hamato Yoshi and four baby turtle mutated into their current form when Shredder dumped green ooze down into the sewers where Hamato Yoshi lived. Hamato Yoshi mutated into a big giant rat then renamed himself Splinter and raised the four turtle brothers Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello and Raphael till their teenage years. Over the years Splinter noticed he was aging rapidly and realized the life expectancy of a sewer rat is only 2-3 years. Turtles can live up to 90-100 years. Since Splinter is half human and half rat, his chances of living a long life was cut dramatically and would not be able to give guidance to his four turtle sons into adulthood.This made Master Splinter very sad, he loves his four sons and wanted them to fully master the art of ninjutsu to carry his name and fighting style.

Donatello not wanting his Master to die prematurely went into his sewer lab to create a antitode to reverse Master Splinter mutation. If Donatello is able to discover a cure it will change Splinter back to his human form and halt his rapid aging, prolong his life and follow his dreams when he when he left japan of opening up his Hamato Yoshi ninjutsu academy school in New York City. This made Master Splinter very happy and potentially would give him a fresh start in life on the outside world. Hamato Yoshi was reborn again and is ready to take down the Shredder with his four turtle sons and along with future students of his school that is willing to support the cause in saving the citizens of NYC.

I sculpted his hair, biceps, torso Gi with symbols, stick weapon and lower pants.
Belt is from fodder
Repainted the entire figure in his original colors and Master Yoshi was done

Hope you like my nickelodeon version of Hamato Yoshi. He scale well with the other nick tmnt figures with their slightly exaggerated limbs and body parts with limited articulation.
