So a friend of mine actually gave me the idea to do a Mortal Kombat Jax custom. And I was like hey why not, cool. So I took the head of a gears of war 3 Augustus Cole figure and his back plate armor to simulate Jax's back plate. Left the back plate alone but trimmed a bit to fit the new body. Took a winter soldier Marvel Select swapped heads and replaced Augustus's head in place of winter soldiers head. Touched up Augustus bandana with black wash as well. I painted the neck with an acrylic leather color to match Augustus's face color. I then crazy glued both trigger fingers closer to unsimulate holding a gun. Simulating a half clenched fist on both hands. Painting both arms metallic silver and adding a bit of black wash. Flat glossing both arms as well to get that metal/steel glare look. Painted his boots,knee pads,pocket pouches, straps a flat gloss black. Found a machine gun grey baseball cap in the fodder bin,knife & a walkie talkie and there you have it a kinda realistic take on ol Mortal Kombat's JAX. Thanks for checking him out folks! Peace....
