Khazad-Dûm Gimli. If Gimli or the Dwarves were ever to fight a Balrog how could they do it? With armour forged that resists the flames of the Balrogs and with axes enchanted with ice/ freezing power to counter the Balrog. Therefore Gimli has been repainted to represent this. He has a black helmet with red trim as well as his gloves and boots. His chainmail is gold and his axes are black to represent a flame resistant handle and the axe heads are pale silvery blue to show ice coloured metal that will harm an firey creature. His tunic is also red. Thought this was fun as some of the painting like red ivory patterns over black looked cool and similar to Samurai armours.
