The Legend of Zelda's final boss, Ganon! He stands 16" tall in his normal hunched over posture, is fully articulated down to his fingers and jaw, and carries his trident. This is my most complex and involved custom to date, drawing on lots of different skill sets such as kit-bashing Pitt and Monkeyman BAF parts together, sculpting his intricate details and the fur covering his body, using textiles for his clothing, using sculptable rubber called Sugru for portions of his mane and his flexible tail and finally using an airbrush for the first time! For more information on him and WIP images, check him out on YouTube. Hope you guys like him. ![]() |

This thing is incredible. And, at 16 inches, makes it even more so...
Now this is how customizing is done, ladies and gents. I'm going to stick around and learn something. Your presentation is next level, man, thanks for that Youtube video, really well put together - it was entertaining and informative!
Sugru should give you a commission for all the business you are going to send their way. That thing is MASSIVE, as are your skills! Phenomenal work, sir!
So lets say you want to shade the grooves between muscles, you just pull back on the lever enough so that the spray area is wide enough to cover the groove and a little bit past it. The groove will get dark and taper gradually towards the edges. Also, use a darker version of the color you're shading, black is too harsh. Then if you want, use a lighter version of the color to spray the high spots.
If your airbrush can only spray thin lines even with a lot of paint/pressure, then you'll have to get a wider tip for it.
Now, if you want to get crazy and do the stuff that FastFreddie does, that's gonna take some skill lol
Anyway, based on the red/white tip area on the staff, looks like you did fine
You're really one of the best out there. you kinda blow my mind.
All the work, styles and material used sounds amazing.
Congratsn on it.
Also, are you enjoying what a pain in the arse it is to clean the airbrush after every use? lol
I have to admit, I'm not sold on an airbrush yet and have total respect for guys who put up with all the crap that's involved in getting a gradiated finish.
