Flying Tiger's identity has not been revealed. What we do know is that he played pro football prior to becoming a mercenary. In his tiger-themed armour, he fought against Spider-Woman and Iron Man. He later joined the Crimson Cowl's Masters of Evil and clashed with the Thunderbolts.
A couple of years ago, I bought a tiger statue and put FT on the bottom of my to-do list. I recently completed his boss, so production went underway. I started with the appropriately-themed tiger-striped Kraven legs, with a Drax upper body. The boots came from Frankenstein, and the gloves are from Hobgoblin. The face is from a HYDRA soldier. The cape/wing thingee is vinyl.
