This was a commission for a new client that wanted to convert a DOTM Megatron to Nemesis Prime/Scourge. I located the best mirror chrome paint on the make, Spaz Stix Ultimate Mirror Chrome, for the trailer. I flat blacked the rest of the figure and then used a mixture of Testors, Model Masters, Vallejo and Tamiya Weathering Master sets. I rusted all of the areas that were predetermined by Hasbro and then add a few extras for more details. The head swap posed an issue as the neck area was too tall in the back and the ball on the ball joint was too small. I shaved Don the back of the neck and added filler to the ball and then it was perfect. I also added a few florescent colors that will glow under UV light. The client also request that the original Megatron head be painted like it looked in AOE and I went the extra mile as to add the exposed wires coming from the back of the head. That was achieved by using the wire out of a twist tie and painting each one a different color and attached it to the head with hot glue. Let me know what y'all think. Enjoy!!!!
