Hello! While I was working on my Iron Man figures a couple months back I ended up one day with some excess sculpt. Not being one to like to waste, I immediately grabbed a figure from the fodder box to do something too. I snatched up the Punisher and thought for a quick minute. Decided to try a Judge Dredd and used that initial excess sculpt on the head to frame the helmet. It was a perfect amount to make the basic shape. I added him to my comicon group and built the layers of his coat, armor, pads and boots over the next weeks in between the Iron Man figures. His shoulder pads are attached to straps that are glued to the shoulder and sculpted over so the pads are in the right spot but remain flexible to allow the shoulder joint full articulation. I sculpted finite details on the pads, belt and his badge to include his name on the chest badge. The gun is fodder and had to be shaped to the holster. In the end I think he came out pretty darn close. There's a pic on my facebook of a cosplayer Judge Locke holding him and it's like a father/son photo, LOL! Critiques welcome! ![]() |
