Yes, Yet another Ares.
Well I wanted one for my collection and the BAF ARES is way to expensive so I built mine.

The base figure is an Xmen Movie version Juggernaut. Since I have not much to work with, swap, etc. I had to Sculp everything. Good thig is that gaining more experience.

Recipe:
-Base Figure -- Movie Juggernaut.
- Helmet-- Sculpted over the original, grinded, added piece of rope and halloween Shull to the end.
- Arm Guard Vendages-- Sculpted Apoxie
-Boots -- repainted aded toothpick spike.
- Belt with skull -- Sculpted
- Sword -- Foam Board, Apoxie, and a nail for the handle (Dont really like it, Ill work on anotherone
- Cape -- Piece of White Sweater, painted black and skulls painted on it.
- Skirt-- Cut Cardboard.

Regrets: To bad I dont have leftover weapons. He would look great with a gatlin or chain gun. But I will Work on one soon.

if you have any dollartrees in your area the figures thy sell don't have much to offer but the weapons and guns they come with are well wort a buck. they constantly get new product as well and sometimes you can find overstock from other stores.

Cool Ares dude! Big and tough and covered in skulls just like he should be. I really like the fabric cape with the skulls painted on! Nice touch. As for swords, I use wooden tongue depressors, because you can draw the outline of the shape of the blade, then cut it out and sand the edges to a point with fine sand paper. If you need a thicker blade, just glue a couple together. He's a fine addition to your Legends collection, especially with how over priced and underwhelming the BAF is.

Thanks a lot, good advice. I tried using large popsicle sticks for my jack mayman chainsaw but had a harrd time cutting it. are tonghe depresors the same or less ridgid?

Thanks a lot,
I always have trouble with the weapons, is the last part I ve been making now that I've tacled this hobby.
Maybe I rush them because I want to continue with my next figure and don't have left over weapons. And my to do list of figures is quite extensive.
