I needed a tougher Drax than that shrimpy little thing Hasbro gave us, plus I wanted modern Drax with his energy axe and armored boots and gloves. I heavily re-sculpted the face to get that blood lust smile just like in the comics, and the upper torso/pecs. Sculpted the gloves, knives, pants, thigh guards, and belt. Reworked a model kit robot's lower legs to fit onto his shins. Gave him a huge energy axe like Sara Pichelli drew him with in the early issues of the current Guardians comic. I made him a smashed stone base from insulation foam that you can stick his twin knives into when not in use. His tattoos and the shade of green of his skin looks much cooler in real life, but my camera skills are lacking. He's ready to mop the floor with my Thanos Build A Figure!
