So, recently, keeping with the wrestling trend, I was asked to fix up a Roman Reigns custom. Proved a bit tedious, but came out all right. At the same time, I was fixing up a new Daredevil, and I happened to think the same general approach would work great for a Dean Ambrose. But, this entire month I'm refusing to buy new parts for random customs because, well, I get carried away. However, I dug through all of my head options and ended up thinking a Luke Skywalker head might make for a pretty good stand-in. I swapped out the feet for Steve Rogers and the right hand for Namor, then started into the sculpting. Sculpted the upper and lower legs to look more like jeans, and the upper and lower torso for the shirt look. Always thought it fit the character more to not have an official shirt. Wrapped some sculpt around his hands for the tape, and gave him a full repaint. Changed the eye color on the Luke head and gave him a really light beard to help make him look a little less like Mark Hamill. Eye color can make a difference. Quick throw together, but a fun project, and thought it'd be cool to get him posted before tonight's PPV.
