This is Cable based on a mashup of the X-Force #1 cover art and the inside art, by Liefeld. Part of my crusade to bring the 90s X-Men alive.

The figure's all Hyperion apart from the lower legs (Sabretooth), and right hand from Sentry.

Resculpted the hair, and made a comm-link from fodder. I may add an antennae later, don't have anything to hand right now.

Sculpted the pauldron straps in green stuff, so no painting required for the cover art look! The pauldrons themselves are from the series 6 Toybiz Cable.

Mechanical arm, gloves, right arm munition band, belt buckle & clips, leg bands and boot details are all sculpted using Milliput. I filled in the muscle detail on the lower legs to look more like boots.

The belt and large pouches are from the Ultimate Captain America, and the shells are from Punisher's coat.

Easy paint job, making the metallic parts shiny, and sealed.

I was thinking of putting this in the Big Guns contest, but I imagine there'll be way better ones in there!
