Been a big fan of this site for a long time and decided to finally take the plunge. Do something myself rather than just looking at some of the absolutely brilliant custom jobs that appear. Not done many re-modelling jobs since some original Star Wars figures about 20 years ago.
Chose this one as it’s big, a good sculpt [why it’s a popular one] but really needs a paint job. It’s also got very little articulation which makes life easier. Painted up an 8” Iron Man figure in same shade to give the big guy some scale.
No airbrush so it’s spray cans and brushes for me, so less intricate colour schemes suit. Colours used were Citroen’s Wicked red [gives a deep red when used over black] and Tamiya Gold leaf & Chrome silver.
