I've had this Hasbro Ep. III Clone Trooper for a while now and I wanted to do something with him. I decided to work with the original Hasbro design (the dark red markings) instead of against them here. The result was making a 1/6 scale Clone Trooper from the 91st Mobile Reconnaissance Corp (which is seen briefly in Ep. III).

For the design, I tried to take a more Clone Wars take on the character. For those who have seen the series, the clone troopers armor looks much more customized and personal then it does in the actual movies. Each legion has their own colors, but each clone has customized their armor in their own way, which what I was trying to do here.

For the most part, he's a repaint. My goal was to make a good looking (but real, worn) paint scheme that looks like this trooper actually did himself and give it the appropriate wear, tear and battle look.

He's not a Sideshow figure, but considering how he started from Hasbro, I'm very pleased with the end result!
