As soon as I saw the design for the Black panther movie suit, I KNEW I had to take a crack at it, and so far, I think I'm the first one to finish one. Started with a Batman infinity Nightwing and sculpted the entire suit. Sculpting in all the criss-crossing lines and getting them to be symmetrical was very difficult and frustrating, but in the end, definitely worth the effort. For the paint job, I began by base coating the entire figure in flat black. From there I drybrushed a medium grey that matched the original figure's paint perfectly. Finally I went back and used a glossy black on some of the lines. This matched the concept art and helps the black stand out from the grey. Also painted the "necklace area" silver and the eyes gold. It was a lot of work but also a lot of fun to make. I'm a sucker for movie design customs and the stuff Marvel is putting out has been terrific. The same can be said for DC and I'm pretty close to finishing a Mamoa Aquaman. thanks for looking. He'll be on eBay shortly ![]() |

I want to do something similar with a Batman Beyond but I just don't have patience to do that sweet detail work
(Although, I probably would've switched out the hands, as BP doesn't need to hold any weapons)
love the figure
